The Adventure Park “Selva del Buffardello”, in San Romano in Garfagnana, is a real novelty in the Tuscan-Emilian Appennines. An old wood of three hectares in the heart of Garfagnana, near “Parco dell’ Orecchiella”, with a wonderful view on the Alpi Apuane and very close to the old castle “Fortezza di Verrucole”.
Among the centuries-old firtrees some acrobatic forest courses have been created and their aim is to show the wood from a different and adventurous point of view: hanging in the air.
Ten courses, three for children and seven for kids and adults; different levels of difficulty to allow everyone to approach the impervious walkways between the trees.
For those who cannot resist to the temptation to challenge the evidence of courage, the Adventure Park provides maximum security through DPI certified facilities, complying with safety standards. Before gaining access to the
courses everybody performing a test on the ground with specialized personnel. They also ensures supervision on the courses.
All minors must, however, be accompanied and supervised.
In the Park there are also a bar, some pic-nic areas and toilets, to enjoy a pleasant day in the countryside.
Family day: In July every Wedsnesday all the family do the course, the youngest doesn't pay!
